The study aims at giving the characteristics of English and Vietnamese rhetorical questions and the detailed contrastive analysis to find out the similarities and differences between English and Vietnamese rhetorical questions translating questions from English into Vietnamese on the bilingual story. They are the qualitative method, quantitative method and descriptive method in combination with data collection and data analysis approaches to find out the similarities and differences of rhetorical questions in the research into the bilingual story. The findings of the study on the results find out the similarities and differences of rhetorical questions in English and Vietnames, common some small mistakes in the bilingual story are found out. This study also to give some implication for English learner the comparing and contrasting these functions of questions in the two languages remains a gap for readers to understand the similarities and differences rhetorical question in English and Vietnamese, which is useful for the Teaching and Learning of translation best way to usefull to translating.
